Today was fairly laid back (i.e. we didn't do much at all!). We drove to Baie Rouge, a beach on the French side. It was so beautiful, we rented an umbrella and 2 chairs, and spent ~4 hours there. The scenery/surroundings were gorgeous, the water was the right temperature, the sand was nice and soft, and there were just enough people to keep it interesting. We also got a great exchange rate on the euro - the French side accepts euros and dollars, and a can of Coke was 2 euros or $2.50. While it was a great exchange rate, it was a ridiculously high amount for a can of Coke, but it's what we wanted at the time, and it's amazing how you'll throw money around on vacation!
We came back to change and go out for a night on the town, but never left! Are we napping/sleeping a lot because the sun wears you out, or is it from our recent stressful weeks back home, or simply because we can?!
Tomorrow, we're going shopping!
