Gas price in Oman

I'm always curious about this, especially since it's often a topic of conversation... It's 0.12 R.O. (Omani Rial) per liter here, which equals about $1.17/gal, or about 16 Indian Rupees/liter. We pay what these days, close to $2/gal? So it's about 50% less here compared to us, and 66% less than India (per my cousins from there who are also here).
