Still waiting...

The due date came and went, it's now 3 days later, and still no baby. According to the professionals, both baby and I are in great shape to do this on our own. But, now there is somewhat of a game plan to involve medical intervention next week if the little one still hasn't made his grand appearance.

2010 is clearly baby season in our lives as so many of our friends are expecting or having babies. It seems like every week or so, someone new shares that they are expecting or announces a birth, and it is always such wonderful news to hear! I have 3 good friends who were due right around me. Two were due before me and had their babies early. One was due 3 weeks after me and had her baby yesterday! Yes, at this point I'm feeling like the last pregnant person around. But, a wise friend pointed out that it's not like this lasts forever... there is a definite end in sight! Until then, we're still waiting...
